Axe Throwing Coming To Cheltenham – SoGlos 26 Aug 2021
We’ve had plenty of articles featured in the local Cheltenham media advertising the activities of Eat Sleep Axe (the axe throwing business I set up in 2021), including a niumber in SoGlos, an online local magazine and marketing brand.
This feature is minimal, but it has a certain significance for us being the first piece to notify the public of the opening of Eat Sleep Axe.

Cheltenham’s Coronation Square social enterprise staff ‘sad’ to be leaving as shop closes – Gloucestershire Live Feb 2022
Another milestone article in the local paper, as the social enterprise we started in 2016 finally closed down. We couldn’t afford to pay the increase in rent prompted by the regeneration of the Coronation Square shopping centre. The very regeneration we set out to create – a bitter sweet end, but generally positive.

I Wanted To Be Much More Hands-on In All Aspects Of A Business – CareerShifters Jan 2023
CareerShifters aims to inspire and enable people (via various training courses and learning opportunities) to pursue fulfilling careers.
They liked my story of moving out of corporate consultancy to running a small axe throwing business and published this interview of me as some inspiration to other folks looking to change career.

My Strange Gratitude For Covid Job Change – BBC News Feb 2023
In early 2023, Radio Gloucestershire included me in a short feature about people who’s lives had changed more positively as a result of Covid.
The pandemic was a strange time, but it really spurred us on, not only to switch business, but also to radically change our lifestyle, as it did for many others no doubt.
