Acceptance of our sitting service is implicit acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. Payment & Cancellations

The Client is responsible for paying 50% of the agreed fee on booking and the remaining 50% at the end of the Sit, via bank transfer.

We reserve the right to cancel the booking if the Sit changes from the description provided by the Client in the booking form, unless subsequently agreed prior to the start of the Sit.

The charge is applied to each day where we are required to Sit before midday or after 5pm. For example, if a Sit starts before midday on Day 1, that will count as an extra day. Similarly a Sit that ends after 5pm will also count as an extra day.

In the event of the Client cancelling the Sit within 14 days of the start of the Sit, the 50% deposit may not be returned. Otherwise, the deposit will be returned. In either case, if the Sit can be rescheduled, the deposit may be applied to the new Sit, by mutual agreement.

2. Privacy

The Client must disclose any CCTV cameras at the Sit, including devices fitted to the exterior of a property or doorbells that monitor security of the outside areas such as the porch, driveway and garden

Any internal cameras or recording devices must be disabled for the entire duration of the Sit.

3. Visitors

The Client must notify us if anyone else is expected to visit the property during the Sit, i.e. friend, relative, workmen, cleaner, et al.

4. Pet Care

If required, all animals should be up to date with their vaccinations, worm treatment and flea/tick prevention. The Client should provide details of how you would like each animal to be managed on a daily basis, including details of any medications or special treatment that each animal requires.

5. Unexpected Costs

The Client agrees to pay directly, or reimburse us for:

We will provide the Client, or their nominated contact, opportunity to access and to make repairs to the premises.

We will provide receipts for any costs incurred.

6. General

The Client agrees to:

  1. Inform their vet of the dates the Sit as necessary.
  2. Provide a clear list of all meals to be administered to all animals.  To include time of meals, and quantity for each animal.
  3. Have enough food in stock for each animal for the duration of the Sit.
  4. Provide full details of all pets requiring care during the assignment, especially if any animal is unable to be left alone for any period of time.
  5. Provide premises reasonably clean and fit to live in.
  6. Provide keys for the premises, postbox, et al., for the duration of the Sit. 
  7. Provide internet access.
  8. A vehicle (and appropriate insurance) if it is needed for transporting dogs to a walking area, transporting feed, in order to check on animals, or other similar activities that cannot be completed by foot.

7. Liability

We will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by your dog excepting that of proven Third Party.

Whilst we are not cleaners we will endeavour to keep areas clean and tidy. 

We cannot be held liable for any theft or damage to your property or injury/illness to your pets unless we can be shown to be negligent.

We reserve the right to deny or terminate service because of safety or financial concerns.

Extreme weather conditions may mean a curtailment or cancellation of our services at short notice, (we will keep you updated & arrive as soon as possible).

We reserve the right to stop walking a dog if he shows aggression to people or other dogs.

8. Insurance

It is the client’s responsibility to adequately insure their property, contents and any pets/livestock for the duration of the Sit.

We have public liability insurance that covers claims made against us should we make any errors.
